This Privacy Policy describes how Nomad Supper Club ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information in connection with the Nomad Supper Club mobile app (the "app"). It applies only to the app and to information we receive through it.
Information We Collect
- Email address — required to create an account and to receive one-time login codes.
- Full name — optional, shown to other members at events.
- Birthday (month and day only) — optional. We do not collect the year of birth.
- Profile photo — optional, shown to other members at events.
- Account activity — basic timestamps such as account creation and last activity, used to keep the app functioning.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies in the app.
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you using one-time codes sent to your email.
- To display your name and photo to other members in the context of club events.
- To acknowledge your birthday within the club, if you have provided one.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Service Providers
We use a small number of service providers ("subprocessors") to operate the app. They process information only on our behalf and only to the extent necessary to provide their service.
- Cloudflare — delivers transactional email (login codes) and stores uploaded photos in Cloudflare R2 object storage.
- Neon — hosts our PostgreSQL database, which stores account information and app data.
Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing info@nomadsupper.club.
Security
Information is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not store passwords — authentication uses one-time codes sent to your email. Internal access to account data is restricted to the people who operate the club.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@nomadsupper.club. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here along with an updated "Last updated" date.
